Me, Myself and I

We, human beings, are created in the image of God and His likeness. I know that many do not accept this teaching, but it is evident in the scriptures that God is three distinct Persons in one, thus forming the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, we are also a trinity since we were made in His likeness. We are made of the soul, the spirit, and the physical body also known as the flesh, but through Adam’s sin we fell short from the glory of God. In other words, I am a soul living in a physical body with a desire to meet the needs of this world and on the other hand I have a spiritual body deep within me with a desire to meet the needs of the spiritual world. It is very profound to understand until you are truly born of the Spirit. However, Satanist, mediums and spiritualists are aware of this too but I won’t go into detail about that.

So, the greatest battle to overcome as Christians is inside of us, because this is where we make decisions.

“If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam (Jesus), a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven."
